Exercising extensive experience with interior horticulture and urban design, MPFP lead the effort to renovate the atrium centerpiece of two glass towers, known as Reckson Plaza. MPFP was responsible for the creating a dramatic and inviting plaza filled with comfortable, interactive and relaxing public spaces within this multi-use facility encompassing office, retail, government and specialty spaces, including a Post Office, fitness cyber café and coffee bar.

Central to this redevelopment was the dramatic winter garden public space with a soaring 60-foot atrium. The centerpiece of this design in the open, multi-purpose plaza is a grove of Washingtonia robusta flanked by two bosques of golden bamboo. A multi-level interior planting scheme provided a coherent design scheme tying lush plantings into the formal, business environment.
