677 Washington Boulevard is situated in the center of downtown Stamford. Once the long-time headquarters of investment-bank UBS, 677 Washington is well-equipped to accommodate major corporate companies as a nexus of business between the larger hubs of New York City and Boston. Most recently, 677 Washington has acquired new tenants seeking to capitalize on a premier location with ample amenities. 

MPFP is currently in collaboration with the property owner and new tenants to create a series of verdant amenity terraces, replete with a host of contemporary amenities for both new and old tenants alike. MPFP’s design intent seeks to create an accommodating work environment with flexible spaces that cater to a variety of uses for the tenants of the building.

As one enters the terrace, an expansive custom shade trellis offers filtered shade and a variety of seating elements. A planted buffer of vibrant ornamental grasses runs the length of the terrace - jogs in the planter bed give way to a series of passive garden nooks, each equipped with lounge seating and shade canopies. An expanse of lawn offers a more active and flexible programmable space for office events. This landscape vocabulary is carried over to the private portion of the terrace and tailored to the specific tenant.
