Astoria West
Set along the Astoria waterfront, Astoria West is a contemporary residential development with an extensive array of amenities that offers a strong sense of community for residents and visitors alike. With 534 residences and over 40,000 SF of indoor and outdoor amenity space, the development is well-posed between Astoria Park, Socrates Sculpture Park, and Rainey Park.
Expanding on the neighborhood’s wealth of open space, MPFP designed a cohesive series of outdoor amenity spaces including ground-level pathways, a central courtyard, and a roof-top rich in amenities. MPFP’s design intent was for residents to feel and see elements of the ‘garden’ from all vantage points throughout the site; this design goal greatly influenced the second-floor courtyard space to be a ‘grove’ of mature shade trees, populated with a series of garden seating nooks.
With spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline, Astoria West’s rooftop is anchored by the ‘Pool Club’; a 50’x20’ pool with chaise-lounge sun decks and trellis-shaded seating. At the north end of the rooftop, trellis-shaded, wood-deck dining lounges are centered about a large, fully equipped communal kitchen.

What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
