Garvies Point
The Garvies Point Master Plan is a comprehensive transformation of a 52-acre brownfield into a vibrant waterfront community. Within its boundaries, this master plan includes residences, offices, restaurants and museums, and is unified by a necklace of public parks, plazas, bicycle, and pedestrian paths, all connecting to the Garvies Point Preserve and downtown Glen Cove.
The public-private project has created the first comprehensive pedestrian park system stretching from Glen Cove to its waterfront. The open spaces vary from semi-active open fields to a programmable south facing waterfront amphitheater space, passive contemplative gardens, native restored wetland shorelines, marinas, interpretive piers providing close contact with the water, a boat launch and restored dune beach. MPFP’s master plan has been approved and the EIS has been submitted.

What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
