Robinson Landing
This historically significant waterfront in Alexandria has undergone a distinctive transformation, inclusive of town homes, condominiums, fine dining and retail space. Robinson Landing stands as a unique civic asset to the town of Alexandria, offering expansive and verdant waterfront public space with ample contemporary amenities.
Working alongside Shalom Baranes, MPFP led the design of this waterfront park and its connective pedestrian passages. Both the architect and landscape architect were integral in securing permits and approvals, reliant on effective interagency coordination.
MPFP’s sequencing of cobblestone and pavers reinvigorated the project’s history, recreating the ambiance of the past. A steel band demarcating the site’s industrial timeline runs continuously throughout the site, serving as another reminder to this Old Town Alexandria waterfront. Street trees and ornamental planting surround seating areas, providing passive and active spaces with a strong physical connection to the waterfront.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
